Ramkalawan offers FREE MONEY to Seychellois!!

In mid March the NDP mooted the idea that in the (extremely improbable) event that they made it into government, employees would enjoy a tax free threshold of SR10,000/month. Why not SR15,000 or SR 20,000 per month? This was an arbitrary figure plucked out of thin air, with no concern for its effect on government projects and budgets. It demonstrates that the NDP understands nothing about government business. It’s the same as providing your child with pocket money but then you have to stop buying certain foods and clothing.

Now, just a few weeks later, Mr Ramkalawan and the SNP, renowned for their fickleness and inability to ever come up with a single, original idea have also jumped on the tax reduction bandwagon. They are promising SR5000/month tax free. Mr Ramkalawan has no clue about running a country and how to approach the complexities of the Seychelles’ budget. Mr Ramkalawan finds “the frying pan too hot to handle”, but in this instance has jumped into it with the NDP and is encouraging all Seychellois to do the same!

Mr Ramkalawan, the Seychellois are a lot smarter than you can imagine; don’t treat them with such disrespect!
