Regar– Act of desperation!

image

Regar decided to come out with its party political paper today, in a last ditched attempt to garner some extra votes from an already ailing support base. Seychellois on the street are predicting a resounding defeat for Presidential Candidate Wavel Ramkalawan, following a large decline in SNP supporters, many of which have moved to Parti Lepep. Interestingly the blatant disregard of an understanding not to campaign during the ‘cooling off period’ has shed some light on some issues you the voter should be aware of:

1. There is indeed DEMOCRACY in our small country. More than ever the people of Seychelles are going to choose their next leader. These elections are being undertaken under the scrutiny of a large delegation of observers…and we hope that the SNP will accept the results and concede defeat without resorting to the usual tactics of blaming the opponents for their dismal failure.

2. There is indeed FREEDOM in our small country, as Regar did exercise it’s right to publish its 17th edition on the 20 March 2011, bang into the middle of the Presidential election.

So, serious voters – who is SNP fooling?
